INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY CELEBRATION Nazar Ekta Foundation – Cholapur Block

On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Nazar Ekta Foundation organised a grand program on 10 March 2026 at the Campus, Cholapur, Varanasi. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from around 450 women and girls, making the celebration vibrant and dignified.
The program was honoured by the presence of several distinguished guests including the Principal of Sunbeam School, Cholapur Branch, the Block Development Officer (BDO) Cholapur as the Chief Guest, the CDPO Cholapur, representatives from Cholapur Police Station, and other dignitaries. Social activist Jainab Siddiqui from Lucknow also attended the event along with many local women leaders and community representatives.
During their addresses, the guests emphasized the importance of women’s rights, equality, self-respect, education, and leadership. They highlighted that positive change in society is possible when women are organised, aware, and empowered.
The event featured songs, dramas, and cultural performances presented by women and girls. These performances delivered powerful messages about women’s rights, equality, and the importance of education in society.
Interactive activities and motivational games were also conducted by Jainab Siddiqui, encouraging women to challenge traditional stereotypes and develop confidence and leadership qualities.
On this occasion, 25 inspiring women from the community were honoured with the “Ekta Samman” memento in recognition of their dedication, leadership, and contribution to society.
Nazar Ekta Foundation remains committed to educating, organising, and empowering women from rural and underprivileged communities, striving towards a society based on equality, dignity, and justice.
