KUPWARA, OCTOBER 21: On the directions of Deputy Commissioner Kupwara, nominated senior Nodal Officers today commenced week-long, comprehensive field visits across designated Vibrant Villages of the tehsil Karnah. The special inspection drive, scheduled from October 19 to October 24, aims at conducting on-ground midline surveys, reviewing infrastructure delivery, and evaluating ongoing developmental interventions.
On the second consecutive day, SDM Karnah Mohd Raiyaz (JKAS) visited Teetwal, Tehsildar Karnah, Mohd Amin Bhat inspected Gundi Gujran, and Chief Education Officer Kupwara, Manzoor Ahmad led the inspection team at Hajitra Karnah.
Working in close synergy with sectoral line departments, the inspecting officers took stock of basic amenities including all-weather road connectivity, piped drinking water, power supply, healthcare services, telecommunications, and educational facilities. The visiting teams also physically and financially verified various developmental works executed under Central and UT-sponsored schemes, while directly interacting withlocal residents, and beneficiaries to assess scheme saturation and grievance redressal on the ground.
The visits will culminate in completion of the prescribed VVP-II monitoring questionnaires and gap-analysis matrices, which will directly feed into detailed Village Action Plans (VAPs) designed to accelerate socio-economic and infrastructural transformation across the border area.
