Karnah, October 6: In view of the forecast of adverse weather conditions, including heavy rainfall in plains and snowfall in higher reaches and mountainous areas, the Sub Divisional Administration Karnah has issued an urgent advisory asking residents staying in Dhoks and other high altitude areas to return to their respective native villages by today.
The advisory, issued by the Office of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Karnah, has urged the concerned residents to return along with their livestock and other domestic animals, keeping in view the possibility of deterioration in weather conditions in the coming days.
The administration has also directed all concerned Lambardars and Chowkidars to ensure that people residing in Dhoks and other high altitude areas return safely to their villages.
The Lambardars have further been instructed to immediately inform the office of the SDM Karnah if any family or individual is still found staying in such areas, along with their details and exact location.
The administration has urged all concerned to treat the advisory as urgent and comply with it in the interest of public safety.
